It is undeniable,
time stands still for non of us. We are running out of time, literally. From the very first day we are alive and brought into this world, time is running out for us, and not one of us knows how much time we will have. We can, and do speculate about how much time we have on this planet. We say “I will live to my mid 90’s” that’s all well and good, but you could be hit by a bus tomorrow at 33 years old and time will end for you, on this planet anyways.
Which brings us to what each of us believes in, and we should probably not bring religion into this, but we are going to anyways, in a very open and honest way.
Am I religious? not in any sense of the word, however I am very spiritual. I am sure someone will read that and be thinking, what the hell is the difference between religious and spiritual?
To me anyways, being religious is following a certain set of beliefs and or rules in an observed religion, whether it be Catholic, Lutheran, Hindu etc. and that’s not for me, and here’s why.
I believe with all my heart in God and Jesus and what the bible says, (and its fine if you do not) but what I do not believe in, is someone telling me what God or Jesus meant by what is in the bible, it should mean something different and deeply profound to each of us, who believes. I also believe wholeheartedly in this passage from the bible, in a very literal sense.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
To me we were all created in the likeness of God and with the ability to reach different planes of existence from our existence here on earth, without dying. You have heard of “Your Higher Self” well that is what I am talking about. I also believe it is possible, to be in heaven with God and Jesus while being alive on this planet, two good cases in point are Colton Burpo and Akiane Kramarik, if you don’t know these two people click the links, they are certainly worth reading up on.
Now at this point I am sure you are thinking, where are you going with this Jim?
This is where I am going,
I recently lost the kindest man I have ever met in my life, my father in law, his name was Richard Liebrich and he was 73. I viewed him as my father and he took me as his son, he was also my friend. If you could ask God how to live your life I am certain God would tell you to live like this man did. He loved his family more than anyone I have ever known, his faith in God was remarkable, and God rewarded that faith quite generously. He did not have acquaintances, if you met him he was a friend, that’s just how he lived his life. I believe he now is in heaven and watching over us, his family.
So know we are back to, time.
As I said before time is running out, for all of us. Eventually time will end for all of us on this planet, one, by one. I am certain that time does not end with a slow ride in a hearse. So before time reaches its inevitable end, lets live a fulfilled life, let’s get our works published, our dreams realized, and for the sake of humanity lets stop being human beings and lets start being, humans doing.
As always I look forward to your comments, thank you for stopping by.
